Not only do you - my loyal Rock Watcher followers - get the latest rock painting, but you also get a history lesson! Today is a national day for Greece. March 25th is celebrated as the day that Greece declared independence from the Ottoman Empire in 1821.
As I was walking by the Rock on this sunny afternoon, I thought I spotted hieroglyphics painted on it. And I was right! Lambda Alpha, the national honors society for Anthropology, decorated the rock with fun handprints and other markings!
For the 3rd year in a row, the Rainbow Center is hosting the True Colors conference at UConn. The conference turns 17 years young... as stated on the Rock!
