Happy Birthday, Ally!



Ally has great friends! What a creative way to send birthday wishes to someone. Beats getting a card!

Polish Pride


The Polish Cultural Society painted a pretty red and white Rock in the style of the Polish flag!
On April 13, the group held a candlelight vigil in memory of Poland's President Lech Kaczynski and many other senior Polish government and military officials who died in an airplane crash near Smolensk.


UConn vs. 'Cuse blood drive



From April 12 to April 19, UConn and Syrcause held competing blood drives. I wonder who won?

Greek Independence



Not only do you - my loyal Rock Watcher followers - get the latest rock painting, but you also get a history lesson! Today is a national day for Greece. March 25th is celebrated as the day that Greece declared independence from the Ottoman Empire in 1821.

Hieroglyphics




As I was walking by the Rock on this sunny afternoon, I thought I spotted hieroglyphics painted on it. And I was right! Lambda Alpha, the national honors society for Anthropology, decorated the rock with fun handprints and other markings!
